child restraint
Fri, 06 May 2011 10:00:38 -0600Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) is recalling 794,247 child safety seats. The harness adjustment strap might slip through the adjuster as the child moves. This is caused on an unacceptable number of occasions when the harness locking and release button does not return to its locked position. Ford Air Bags
Fri, 15 Apr 2011 10:28:56 -0600
Ford Motor Co. expanded its recall of the F-150 pickup truck to include nearly 1.2 million vehicles that may have defective air bags. NHTSA announced the additional recall for trucks manufactured from the 2004 through 2006. An electrical short can cause the air bags to deploy unexpectedly, in some cases injuring drivers. This is not the first time Ford has been exposed for sloppy manufacturing of its trucks. A sudden unexpected airbag release could cause unspeakable tragedy. Does anyone know why this problem got past engineering and manufacturing quality control? It certainly makes the trucks unreasonably dangerous.
